2004 Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino

The company Agricola Casanova di Neri was established in 1971 with the purchase by Giacamo Neri’s vast estate in the territory of Montalcino.
Over the years, has been our constant research and acquisition of the land that we felt excellent to obtain high quality grapes. This led us to now have about 36 hectares of vines divided into four plots in different locations and separate “the Pietradonice” Castelnuovo dell’Abate , “The Cetine” in Sant’Angelo in Colle, the “Cerretalto” and “Fiesole” around dell’omonimo cottage in front of Montalcino.
The vineyard of “Fiesole” is located close to the cottage where is our home and our cellar. Nearby there is also the Vineyard “Poderuccio”. 350 m elevation and from this comes our vineyard Brunello.
In 1986 we bought a magical place, the vineyards of “Cerretalto”. a natural amphitheater on the river on an ace high ranging from 250 to 300 meters above sea level. Exposure to the east of Montalcino the door to have a “Terroir” unique and unmistakable. On the other side of Montalcino, south east, near Castelnuovo dell’Abate, is the vineyard of “Pietradonice”.
The soil, exposure, microclimate, the choice of clones, rootstocks, planting sixth of us are giving the big best grapes each year.
One word: magnificent.
Last but not in quality, scenic beauty and pristine nature, the vineyard of “Cetine”. 25 ha south-facing south-east, in a charming hillside near Sant’Angelo in Colle.
To me the 2004 vintage is classic yet refined.  Neri’s wines are about power and longevity.  At West Palm Wines, I am proud to offer these great selections.
